When emotions boiling inside of me, I write a lot of lyrics. Often just short passages.
Later I work on some of them, form them into lyrics for a song. I also leave some fragments as they are.
If they are too direct, too personal then their deed is already done.
Writing them down took the pressure from my soul. No need to make them public.
Most of them are written in english, as this often helps me to put some distance into them. Apart it is often easier to write singable lyrics in english, than in german. When clicking on a lyrics-link, the text opens in a new window, so that you can keep this window open as an index. |
